Do we really need an entry or mention of a university radio station manager? --Maru (talk) 20:30, 20 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Why mention an MIT professor then? Technically, you cant allow certain people to be mentioned and others not to be, its all or nothing. If you want to restrict it then it defeats the point of wikipedia, it is a valid entry if the professor is a valid entry. --User:Tektonnic
The MIT professor is here because he was really important in several areas of Compuer Scientist, from Unix to AI. I came to this page looking for him. A radio station manager is not interesting in the least bit- what has that Tom Knight done? The article cannot adduce even the least bit- it only includes the bare fact of his existence. --Maru (talk) 19:00, 23 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'm on the wall, this article should lead straight to the MIT professor but should have a link to the station manager. A disambiguation page is not needed because there is only 2 people. Cokehabit 13:16, 3 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Out of date?

[edit]

I think TK has left MIT. He's only listed as an "affiliate" in the MIT online directory, and AIUI that means not employed by MIT. Jar354 (talk) 15:27, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

vanity page?

[edit]

this page is very badly written with almost no biographical details, his place of birth, his age, his alumnus, family, photos, nothing. It might be a really half arsed vanity page or it might just be a really poorly written wikipedia page... though after linking here from 'synthetic biology' I tend to think the former rather than the latter. 124.168.164.201 (talk) 04:43, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
